Nonno or Grandpa, was known for his thick fleece shirts and jeans. His family generously gave me some of those shirts and jeans to turn into momentos for his children and grandchildren. I felt extremely privileged to be asked to work with a family to remember someone who was clearly so special to them all.
Handmade for Me welcomes custom orders and one of the earliest was a weapons bag for a martial arts instructor. It was a huge bag, literally at over a metre tall and more than a metre wide but it was just so interesting to make which is why I love custom orders. They take me places I wouldn't think of going.
